Wow. This is something else. I’m not necessarily an advocate for gay marriage, but I do see the need for a “separation of sex & state.” Yes, I just coined that term.
A separation of sex & state in the same light as there is a separation of church & state. No politician’s sex, sexual orientation, sexual preference, or sexual undertaking should be taken into account when evaluating their service to the country (barring his/her participation in any illegal sexual mischief).
There are gays and lesbians out there who could steer this country back on track, as well or better than any of our current leaders. Whether they will be saved on judgment day, or whether they should be allowed to marry, should not have anything to do with their professional profile.
However, these politicians are disgraceful for creeping around and hiding their indiscretions. The whole “DL” thing just really ticks me off. Why get married and start a family JUST to sneak off smashing 15yr old boys and 50yr old men?? Get it together people. Come out! Stop degrading yourselves and our society! The world is watching…and laughing.

So i thought about this and said forget it…this is not my fort. But recently i was asked about my opinion relating to this topic, after Maine rejected the same-sex marriage action and so decided that i could make it simple and direct. So here it is…no long essay this time:
If u (politician) are chosen to a public office, it is b/c the voice of the people have chosen u most likely based on the credentials and what u can bring to the table on the behalf of them….that’s all!
So PLEASE do the job u r elected to do and represent the interests and concerns of the citizens. There is a reason that Abe Lincoln emphasized the phrase ‘government of the people,for the people, by the people’ reminding us the foundation of ‘The Republic.’
And this whole issue about privacy…u r serving the public…are constantly under public eye…and it gets frustrating BUT that’s part of the job…so suck it up b/c u knew from the beginning what u were getting in to.
PLUS these non job related immature actions that surface up via the media just reminds the people that ur time is up as a representative and u gots to go…b/c there are just such things that the people DO NOT have the tolerance for.
And usually everyone think that the U.S. is the big brother and has others under their watch BUT theirs a change in the air and nowadays others are watching the U.S. There very own ‘Truman Show’…and that CAN’T be tolerated. So let’s reevaluate our priorities and rebuild our agenda!!!
